DIAL UP LINES
It is a temporary connection to communication among one or more telephones line. In dial up line to transmit data is similar as of using a telephone to make a call. A modem is added at the two ends of sender and receiver. A connection is established between two ends when receiver answers the call and the data is transmitted. When the transmission is completed, the modem at either end terminates the connection by hanging up.
Dial up line makes a connection between to location by using PSTN and modem.
This method of point to point connection depends up on the operating systems that are running.
DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINES
In digital subscriber line is used by mobile user or small business organization by using digital line for transferring data. It delivers large size of data on standard cable by using broadband connection. Packet header of ppp protocol
